Brevity Email works inside the compose window you already use. Nothing to copy, nothing to paste.

Write your draft

In Gmail or Outlook on the web — a new message, a reply, or a saved draft.

Select and shorten

Select the text you want shortened, or select nothing to take the whole draft. Press Alt+Shift+S (Option+Shift+S on Mac) or click the Shorten button.

Keep it or undo it

The shorter version replaces your text in place. An Undo button appears for a few seconds if you'd rather have your original back.
